Shilpa Shetty’s Post-Pregnancy Weight Loss
After tying the knot with Raj Kundra in 2009, Shetty gave birth to a son. During her pregnancy, she gained a whopping 80 pounds weight, which she attributes to a high-fat diet comprising milk, butter, and other fatty foods. As she is not accustomed to such a hefty body, she was finding it hard to sit, bend, and walk.
With an objective of losing her prenatal weight, Shilpa Shetty took professional help and started training under the fitness instructor Vinod Channa. Initially, she performed 15-20 minutes of light workouts, including walking and cycling, thrice a week. The intensity of each exercise was gradually increased, and within 10 months, she succeeded in shedding almost 21 kilos.
